HBO announced some prettyyyy, prettyyy good news Monday: Seinfeld-creator Larry David's hit show Curb Your Enthusiasm is returning after six yearsfor a ninth season.

Larry David, who plays a lightly/barely fictionalised version of himself on the show, is making his return on October 1.

The curmudgeon was badly missed.
