Why Kapil Sharma could not attend Firangi co-star Ishita Dutta's wedding

As actress Ishita Dutta tied the knot with boyfriend, actor Vatsal Seth on Tuesday in a private ceremony, the couple's close friends and family were in attendance. But the one person who was conspicuous by his absence was comedian-actor Kapil Sharma.

Kapil and Ishita star in Firangi- a film that is scheduled to release on December 1 in theaters. The actor has also produced the film. So, was Kapil invited to the wedding? Ishita did invite him to the wedding but the actor could not attend it due to prior work commitments, a source told Times Of India. The actor though wished Ishita on phone.

Ishita and Vatsal met on the sets of TV show Rishton Ka Saudagar - Baazigar. The two played leads on the show but kept their relationship under wraps as they both had reportedly signed a no-dating contract for the show.
Post the wedding, Vatsal shared a photo with his new bride and captioned it as, "Ishita & I got married today in small and a private ceremony... Need all your love and blessings."

The wedding was a hush-hush affair and saw Bollywood actors like Ajay Devgn, Bobby Deol, Kajol and Sohail Khan in attendance.
