Congress president Rahul Gandhi continued his attack on BJP/RSS on Sunday. This time the Congress leader attacked Centre over Asansol violence.

"After losing their sons due to hatred and communalism, messages from Yashpal Saxena and Imam Rashidi shows that love will always triumph over hatred in India," he tweeted.

"The foundation of Congress is also on compassion and mutual brotherhood. We will not allow the hatred spreading BJP / RSS ideology to win."

The Imam of a mosque told congregation in Asansol, West Bengal that he would leave the town if anyone retaliates against his son's death in Ram Navami communal clash.

A 16-year-old Sibtualla Rashidi, Imam's son went missing from Tuesday during the violence later Police recovered his body on Wednesday.

Inthe police investigation, his father was informed that his son was beaten to death by some unidentified miscreants.

Following the clashes in West Bengal during the Ram Navami celebrations, section 144 has been imposed in parts of the state including Asansol and Raniganj.

The section will remain in effect till April 4.

The police have also restricted any rally in the area for Hanuman Jayanti on Saturday.

More police personnel have been deployed in the area and internet services have been disrupted to pacify the growing violence in Asansol and other parts of Bengal.
