Woman doctor shouts at Union Minister Alphons after her flight is delayed
The flight was reportedly delayed due to VIP movement
Video has emerged of a woman doctor shouting at Union Minister KJ Alphons after her flight got delayed.
The doctor was rushing to Imphal in Manipur to attend to a critical patient.
Her flight was reportedly delayed because of VIPmovement.
In the video, the doctor can be heard shouting at Alphons.
She tells him to give to her in writing that her flightwill not be delayed further.
The doctor was identified as a Dr Nirala.
"I was waiting and crying so I approached the minister (KJ Alphons), thinking a minister can do everything,"Dr Nirala said.
"Sabki apni life hai, sabka apna time hai. Kisi ek liye aisa nahi karna chahye. This (VIP culture) should be stopped,"she added.
Alphons can be seen in the video trying to calm her down. He says he will give her the assurance she wants in writing.
ANI reported the airport director of Imphal as saying, “Yesterday no scheduled flight was diverted or cancelled. But, 3 scheduled flights were delayed by around 2 hrs due to President of India’s flight movement. We heard that 1 pax who was travelling from Imphal to Patna argued with Union Minister KJ Alphons.”
