Clashes broke out between police and protesters in north Kashmir after a woman's braid was allegedly chopped off triggering massive protest in the area.
Locals in the area suspected a man belonging to India's territorial Army had cut the woman's braid, as a result some men in the area began hitting the solider even as army and police tried to rescue him.
The incident took place at Reddi Chowkibal and Kralpora area of Kupwara district of north Kashmir.
