The movie is based on a French novel by Romain Puertolas titled ''The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir'' who got trapped in an Ikea Wardrobe.
After twosuccessfulBollywood outings, Dhanush is out to prove his mettle in International cinema with the "The Extraordinary Journey of The Fakir."
Sharing the official poster and teaser of the film on Twitter, he quipped " it been an extraordinary journey indeed".
''The Extraordinary Journey of The Fakir'' is an upcoming English-comedy adventure directed by Ken Scott featuring Dhanush and Academy award nominee Bérénice Bejo in lead roles.
The film is based on the best-selling novel by French author Romain Puertolas, revolves around a journey of Fakir who gets trappedin an Ikea Wardrobe.
The film also features Academy award nominee Barkhad Abdi, Gérard Jugnot, Erin Moriarty and Abel Jafri.
Shot in four different location --India, France, Italy, and Belgium -- the movie will also release in French.
