There seems to be no end to controversies around Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati. The film has been opposed by various fringe groups and banned in several states and now Aparna Yadav, Mulayam Singh's daughter in law, has landed herself into trouble for performing on the Ghoomar song from the film.

On Wednesday, the video of Aparna Yadav dancing went viral. According to media reports, Aparna danced to the song at the engagement ceremony of her brother Aman Bisht. Married to Samajawadi patriarch's younger son Prateek Yadav- Aparna performed at the event which took place at a 5-star hotel in Lucknow.

The video has Aparna dancing perfectly to the song along with other women. While it is a well-choreographed number, the fringe groups aren't too happy with her act.

Speaking to DNA, Karni Sena's Lokendra Singh Kalvi said, "We are fighting for our cause. Being a Rajput she is dancing on such songs without caring for the sentiments of Rajput. We will send them the original Ghoomar song and other Rajasthani folk songs if they like it so much."
