Video: IAS officer Puja Khedkar's mother allegedly threatening farmer with gun in Pune

Controversial trainee IAS officer Puja Khedkar, who took charge as an assistant collector and has been accused of allegedly misusing benefits under the physical disabilities category and the other backward class (OBC) quota to secure a position in the Indian Administrative Services is back in the news.

An old video showing trainee IAS officer Puja Khedkar's mother threatening men with a gun in her hand has surfaced online.

It may be recalled here, the 2023 batch officer is accused of posing as an OBC non-creamy layer candidate in her UPSC application and also claimed she was visually and mentally disabled and refused to take tests to confirm her claims.

It is further alleged that Puja's father Dilip Khedkar, a retired IAS officer, ownsproperty worth crores of rupees.

The locals alleged that the Khedkar family tried to occupy the land of farmers. When the farmers opposed this, Khedkar's mother Manorama Khedkar reached the property with her security guards.

The video clip shows, Manorama Khedkar screaming at a man with a pocket pistol in her hand. She walks up to him and waves the gun in his face before concealing it in her hand when she sees the camera.

The farmers also allege that they even tried to file a complaint at Pune's Paud Police Station against her but were asked to leave.

The trainee IAS officer is facing charges of "abuse of power". It is alleged that Khedkar was using a red beacon, VIP number plates, and a "Government of Maharashtra" sticker on her private vehicle, an Audi sedan.

And she was also using Additional Collector Ajay More's office without his consent while he was away and also allegedly removed office furniture from his cabin and even demanded letterheads.
