
The coastguard was pressed into service after three teenagers disappeared atJuhu Chowpattybeach in Mumbai on Thursday evening.
At least five boys had gone in the waterfront as lifeguards rescued one boy early.
The coastguard chopper recovered bodies of two boys today. Authorities later sent the bodiesto Cooper Hospital.
The boys - Sohail, 17, and Fardin Shaikh, 17, were missing all night as rescue operators continued the search operation.
Reports claimed the boys entered the waters during high tide and were soon swept away as the water current intensified.
The Indian navy offered to help even as the Coastguard was called in to rescue the boys.
