Modi cabinet 3.0 is here as all would-be-ministerstook oath on Sunday (June 9) at the forecourt of the Rashtrapati Bhavan. But as Narendra Modi took oath as the prime minister of the country for a rare straight third term, many of his colleagues in the previous cabinet were dropped. These faces were not even visible in thethe tea meeting earlier hosted by the PMat 7 Lok Kalyan Marg. Here are some key Modi 2.0 ministers that didn't find any place in Modi 3.0 cabinet.

1) Smriti Irani: She has been a minister at the centre for last 10 years. She served as the Minister of Women and Child Development and later was given charge of the minority affairs ministry. This time, she lost toCongress’ Kishori Lal Sharma from Amethi Lok Sabha seat.

2) Anurag Thakur:Thakur served as the information and broadcasting minister in the previous government. He was dropped from the cabinet even though he won fromHamirpur with a margin of over 180,000votes.

3) Rajeev Chandrasekhar: The Union Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology lost in Lok Sabha elections to Congress's Shashi Tharoor from the Thiruvananthapuram constituency. Now, he has been dropped from the cabinet.
