TV actress Nia Sharma to make her Bollywood debut with Vikram Bhatt thriller

TV actress Nia Sharma who became a household name with her small screen venture is now ready to take a flight to the bigger screen with a Vikram Bhatt directed thriller film.

The actress last worked with Bhatt on his web series Twisted that was penned and produced by him. The web series became a hit with the audience and is set to return for the second season.

Meanwhile, Bhatt has planned to rope Sharma for a film. A spokesperson for the filmmaker confirmed the development and said, "Vikram Bhatt has just begun planning his next film after the success of his OTT platform. The thriller mastermind has just signed Nia Sharma, the actress from the web series Twisted 2."

He added, "Vikram aims to make it different from anything he has made in the past. He wants to surprise audiences with not only the story but Nia's look in the film."

The details of the film are still being chalked out, and the makers are yet to decide on the actor who will play the male lead.

Nia Sharma last came into focus after she beat Deepika Padukone to become the second sexiest Asian woman, according to a poll conducted by UK-based newspaper Eastern Eye.
