TTV Dhinakaran says AIADMK government will go in two months

While addressing the media afterscoring thumping majorityin the RK Nagarbypolls, AIADMK leader TTV Dhinakaranhas said that the existing AIADMK government will go in two months.

Dhinakaran was referring totheEdappadi KPalaniswami and OPanneerselvam government.

He added that the two leaves symbol was a victory symbol when it was with amma.

He said "the symbol was now with villains, so how can they win."

The Election Commission had earlier acknowledged the EPS-OPSfaction as "real AIADMK"and awarded the two leaves symbol to their party.

Dhinakaran had earliersaid that the government will go in three months.

He said that he was an independent candidate for namesake and all the AIADMK workers were with him. He also added that he had Amma's (J Jayalalithaa) wishes.

"I firmly believe that it is time for this government to go, and in the coming three months you will see this government go," Dhinakaran said.

Thanking the people for the massive support, he said the thumping majority is an indication of where the party symbol and the party will remain.

TTV Dhinakaranfought the RK Nagar by-poll as an independent candidate.

Heemerged as the leading candidate and celebrated his forthcoming victory by payingfloral tribute toAIADMK founder MG Ramachandran at the MGR memorial in Marina Beach.

Dhinakaran won the RK Nagar bypollafter beating Madhusudhanan, the candidate of the Panneerselvam-Palaniswami AIADMK faction.
