In a recent video posted by Jama'at-ud-Da'wah on Twitter, its chief Hafiz Saeed has blamed India for the fall of Dhaka.

"India is behind the Fall of Dhaka, as confessed by Narendra Modi in his speech in Dhaka University, Bangladesh," said Hafiz Saeed.

He also added that "the avenge for Dhaka is due."

Saeed also said that "to avenge East Pakistan, a way of revenging Kashmir is underway and is in the process, it will go very long way."

Hafiz Saeed spoke on the day of Vijay Diwas that marks the military victory over Pakistan who was defeated by the joint Indo-Bangladesh command.

Following the Pakistan military surrender on 16 December, it led to the disintegration of east and west Pakistan and Bangladesh liberated from Pakistani Occupation forces.
