Sushma Swaraj's two-day trip to Nepal begins this Thursday

Union Minister of External Affairs Sushma Swaraj will be on a two-day visit to Nepal starting Thursday.

Swaraj's visit comes ahead of the formation of a new Nepalese government by a Communist alliance.

She will be accompanied by the newly appointed Foreign Secretary Vijay K. Gokhale and Sudhakar Dalela, Joint Secretary (North) of the EAM.

In her first trip post the three-tier elections in December, the external affairs minister will meet Nepali President Bidhya Devi Bhandari and Nepal's Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.

She is also expected to meet with CPL-UML chief Oli, Maoist leader Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda and Madhesi leaders.
