Swaraj and Trump also talked about Ivanka's forthcoming visit to India for the Global Entrepreneurs Summit.
Swaraj also met with a number of other leaders, including Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and the foreign ministers of the UAE, Bahrain, and Denmark.
An external affairs ministry spokesman later said Swaraj's meeting with the "Bangladesh PM was a courtesy meeting" and that the "issue of (the) Rohingyas did not come up during it".
