144 (prohibits assembly of more than 5 people in an area) to be imposed from 6am 29 July to 30 July midnight within 2 km radius area of Vidhana Soudha in Bengaluru.

Bengaluru Commissioner of Police, Alok Kumar issued an order in this connection on Saturday ahead of trust vote on Monday.

BJP's BS Yediyurappa took oath as Karnataka chief minister for the fourth time on Friday. Yediyurappa, who was administered oath by Karnataka Governor Vajubhai Vala at Raj Bhavan in Bengaluru, will have to prove the majority of his government in state Assembly on Monday.

The 14-month Congress-JD(S) coalition government fell after the Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy lost the trust vote in Karnataka Assembly on Tuesday. Kumaraswamy and his cabinet ministers submitted their resignations to Governor Vajubhai Vala at Raj Bhavan following their defeat.
