Russian President Vladimir Putin to visit India from October 4-5

Russian President Vladimir Putin will pay an official visit to India from October 4-5, reported news agency ANI quoting official sources in the ministry of external affairs on Friday.

Putin will be here to participate in the 19th India-Russia annual bilateral summit, the report added quoting the source.

During the visit President Putin will hold official talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and also have a meeting with the President of India Ram Nath Kovind, besides holding other official engagements.

Russia is expected to sign a deal to supply advanced S-400 surface-to-air missile systems to India during Putin's visit.
