BJP is continuing to gain more ground in Rajasthan, having secured win in 81 seats. BJP leader Rajendra Rathore said, "We have received the mandate in Rajasthan. It was confirmed that the bad governance of Congress was going to end... The policies of PM Modi have been approved in all three states. This is a referendum on the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. PM Modi's government will be formed once again with a huge majority in the Lok Sabha elections... The new government would be formed in Rajasthan in a few days."

Speaking over BJP leading the election race in Rajasthan, State Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said, "We did not leave any stone unturned and were fully prepared for the elections. We thought people would vote for us based on our current schemes but that did not happen. We will analyse this. I thought people would take revenge from PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah but I think the public could not understand this..."

Since 1993, Rajasthan has been governed by rotating parties every five years. In 2018, the Congress ousted the BJP government, while the reverse is taking place this year.

Leaders of the BJP were celebrating the party's lead in the Rajasthan election. As per the latest ECI trends, the BJP is leading in 102 seats followed by the Congress in 77 seats, and the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) in three seats.

Among all the 199 constituencies, all eyes are set on Sardarpura, Tonk, Jhalarapatan, Nathdwara, Jhunjhunu, Jhotwara, and Churu among others.
Sardarpura is on the list of key constituencies as Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has won this seat since 1998.
BJP leader and former chief minister Vasundhara Raje is contesting from Jhalarapatan.
In Tonk, former Congress leader and former deputy chief minister Sachin Pilot will be taking on BJP's Ajit Singh Mehta.
