Rahul Gandhi is all set to kickstart Congress party's election campaign for upcoming assembly elections in Karnataka from Saturday.
Gandhi will begin his four-day campaign tour from Bellary district, the same district from where Sonia Gandhi wonin 1999 Assembly pollsdefeating current external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj.
Rahul Gandhi campaigning in Karnataka is being compared to Sonia Gandhi's 1999 campaignnoticing the similarity that Sonia Gandhi also started her campaign after she was elected as Congress president.
Media reports say Rahul Gandhi willbe visiting Koppal's Huligamma Temple on Saturday and Gavi Siddeshwara Mutt in the evening.

Earlier former chief minister of Karnataka and Congress leader Gundu Rao had said that Rahul Gandhi is going to be a "very key" campaigner for the Congress in the state.
Countering criticism of Gandhi visiting temple during the elections campaign, Congress leader Anil Shastri said that Gandhi's visit to temples is just a matter of faith and not intended to create a vote bank.
Rahul Gandhi also visited several temples during the Gujarat Assembly elections inviting criticism of playing ''softHindutva'' card.
