Congress president Rahul Gandhi today took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the Naga Accord, a draft framework agreement signed between the centre and an armed rebel group, the Nationalist Social Council of Nagaland (Issac-Muivah).
Rahul Gandhi tweeted that while PM Modi had said in 2015 that history had been created by signing the accord, in February 2018, the accord was nowhere to be found. He added that the prime minister's words didn't mean anything.
Rahul Gandhi's statement comes a day after the BJP announced that it would contest the polls in alliance with the newly formed National Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) led by former chief minister Neiphiu Rio.
