World's most special train

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all prepped for his visit to Ukraine and joins the list of world leaderscommuting on TrainForce One, which is known for its luxury and reliable services. It is known that US President Joe Biden and French President Emmanuel Macron have also travelled via this train.

The journey that PM Modi will be covering to the capital of Ukraine via Train Force One is 10hours.

The ongoing conflict with Russia and Ukraine has ruled out flying to Kyiv, with the airport being closed. The road would be a dangerous option to consider, making TrainForce One the most trusted way to commute to the capital.

Preparation was done beforehand as it was the first time an Indian Prime Minister would visit a country with an active war zone. The preparation involved strict coordination on security matters and complex strategic decisions.

Ukraine has had to switch to diesel engines as Russia disrupted the country’s electricity network and powerhouses, which has increased the voyage time from the Polish border to Kyiv.

The Indian Prime Minister is expected to leave for Ukraine on August 22, after completing the official meetings arranged in Poland.

This train provides luxury amenities and world-class services. Biden, a known enthusiast for Train Force One, spent 20 hours on his visit to Ukraine and ended with an appreciation note for the crew and their exceptional hospitality.

This rail was built in 2024 for tourists who wanted to see Crimea. After Russia took possession of the peninsula region, the objective of the train shifted to a more meaningful purpose.

The motive for PM Modi's visit to Ukraine is more than a diplomatic move; he is trying to create a balance. All eyes will be closely watching Modi, as India's renowned figure aims to remain neutral in the conflict.
