Ahead of the assembly elections in Rajasthan, Prime Minister Modi will lay the foundation of 13 urban infrastructure projects worth over Rs 2,100 crore in the state.

He will also address the beneficiaries of various welfare schemes of the BJP governments at the Centre and in the state.

PM Modi arrived in the state in a special aircraft that landed at the Sanganer airport where he was welcomed by Rajasthan Governor Kalyan Singh and Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje.

He was then taken to the SMS stadium in a helicopter of the Indian Air Force where the prime minister is scheduled to address the rally at the 'Amroodon Ka Baagh'.

The security in the region has been beefed up ahead of his addressing.

CCTV cameras have been installed in sensitive areas and temporary control rooms have been set up tomonitor any suspicious activity in the region.
