
While speaking at a conference inpoll-boundstate, Karnataka, the state chief minister Siddaramaiah, said that Prime minister Narendra Modi has hurt the pride of Kannadigas.
He said " PM has hurt pride of Kannadigas by uttering lies about the state".
He further asked the BJP to present facts and substantiate theallegations that they made on the State government.
He said " Dear Narendra Modi being the PM of the country your words should carry high credibility. I would, therefore, request you to substantiate your allegation " corruption and misgovernance" with facts. Let us fight this election with dignity and based on just facts."
Citing the Godhra incident of 2000, he said " Wherever BJP is in power there is no protection for minorities".
He said "PM keeps making comments that he has given so much money to the states. Where do you think this money is coming from? Its the taxes collected in the states which was sent to Centre. Its our money which comes back:Karnataka".
He also said that neither the PM nor Amit Shah is aware that they have to give Rs 10,000 crores to the state (as per 14th finance commission).
Questioning the PM over the Lokayukta he said "Modiis morally not right to be the PM of the country".
