South Korea's participation in 'Make in India' mission has created many jobs: PM Modi

Prime Minister Modi and the South Korean President Moon Jae-in has delivered a joint press statement at the Hyderabad House.

South Korean President Moon Jae-in was accorded a ceremonial reception at the Rashtrapati Bhavan today. During the ceremony, he met President Ram Nath Kovind and inspected a guard of honour.

From there the South Korean president visited Rajghat where he paid floral tribute to Mahatma Gandhi. President Moon Jae-in was accompanied by his wife Kim Jung-sook.

"South Korea's participation in our 'Make in India' mission has created many employment opportunities in India. Korean companies have made an identity for themselves in every household of India due to their commitment," said PM Narendra Modi while addressing joint press statement.

The two sides are also likely to form a Korea-India Future Vision Strategy Group, which will identify research projects and exchange programmes on software, biotech, cybersecurity, healthcare and energy.

The leaders are likely to talk about the proposed memorial park in Ayodhya on Korean Queen Heo Hwang-ok.
