Pakistan violates ceasefire in Jammu & Kashmir's Poonch

The Pakistan army opened fire on the Indian side in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district.
The firing was carried out by the Pak troops in Poonch district's Mankote at around 5 pm.
The forces targetted the Dabraj, Balnoi and Narh villages of the Mankote with small and heavy weapons.
There was no report of any casualty, however.
The Indian forces also retaliated against the ceasefire violations.
The Pakistani forces on Tuesday opened fire in the Krishna Ghati sector of the Poonch district and also shelled over villages in Naushera sector ofRajouri district.
Ceasefire violations by Pakistan have increased on the International border over the past few weeks.
The state police have clarified death of fourteen people, including eight civilians due to the ceasefire violations on the borders.
Due to the continuous shelling by the Pakistan forces along the International border an LoC, over 300 schools have been shut down as a precautionary measure.
