Pak troops open fire in Poonch along LoC, 1 Indian soldier injured

Pakistan troops opened fire along the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch sector on Friday morning.

The Pakistan army fired at Indian positions with small arms, automatics and mortars in Poonch, reports said.

The Indian army retaliated immediately. Reports said at least one Indian soldier was injured in the firing

Earlier on Wednesday, the Pakistan army had violated the ceasefire in Poonch which attracted heavy counter-firing from the Indian army.

Last month, Pakistan troops had opened fire on Indian border posts at Poonch for three consecutive dayswith reports of intrusion by Pakistan's Border Action Team(BAT) intruders in Kupwara in Jammu & Kashmir.
