The ceasefire violation occurred inDigwar sector of Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch post midnight and continued till early morning hours, reports said.

Pakistan border troops have been repeatedly firing at Indian soldiers along the LoC in the Digwar sector. Monday's ceasefire violation had led the death of three people including a 10-year-old boy, a teenage girl and another child.

According to Indian intelligence sources, Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence(ISI) has formed a group called "Halal Dasta"(killer squad) comprising of banned terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba(LeT) to carry out strikes with its Border Action team(BAT) along the LoC.

Last week Pakistan's BAT intruders had attempted to enter Kupwara in Jammu & Kashmir as Indian troops opened fire on them.

At least 7-8 armed BAT intruders attempted to cross over into Keran sector in J&K's Kupwara.
