Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister and chief Mehbooba Mufti on Friday warned of dire consequences if Delhi tries to break PDP.  ''If Delhi it (Delhi) tries to break PDP then outcomes will be dangerous,'' news agency ANI quoted Mufti as saying.

Mufti's comments come amid reports of horse trading BJP and the saffron party trying to form the government in the state by breaking the PDP, something acknowledged even by the leader of the Opposition and former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah.

Speculation is also rife that the BJP is again trying to form the government in the state with the support of rebel PDM MLAs after parting ways with the PDP in July.

''If Delhi, tries to dismiss the voting rights of people like 1987, if it tries to create divisions & interfere like that then I think just like a Salahuddin and a Yasin Malik were born in 1987...if it tries to break PDP like that then outcomes will be dangerous: Mehbooba Mufti, J&K,'' Muti was quoted as saying.
