'Only time will answer this question': Rajinikanth on alliance with Kamal Haasan

With rumours rife over Tamil Nadu superstar Kamal Haasan allying with superstar Rajinikanth, the latter when asked about the possibilities of the alliance between the two, said ''only time will answer this question''.

Since the Superstar Rajinikanth and Ulaganayagan announced their political ambitions, rumours have been rife with both forming an alliance. However, with both actors skirting the issue, people are anxious about their future course of action.

Meanwhile, Haasan will announce his political party’s name on February 21 at Tamil Nadu’s Ramanathapuram and begin a state-wide tour the same day. The tour will be held in phases. He will begin the journey from Ramanathapuram — his hometown — and later visit people from the districts of Madurai, Dindigul and Sivagangai.

Asked about the possibility of forming an alliance with Rajinikanth, Haasan said recently said: “Our ideologies must match for the alliance to happen.”

In January, Rajinikanth had extended his wishes to Haasan for announcing his political debut. “I wish him all the best,” 67-year-old had said.

Kamal Haasan also greeted Rajinikanth when he made an announcement about his political ambitions.
