Indian travelers who will have to transit through the international zone of any airport in France will no longer require an Airport Transit Visa, starting Monday.
“I’m pleased to announce that, with effect from 23rd July 2018, holders of Indian passports will no longer require an Airport Transit Visa (ATV) while transiting through the international zone of any airport in France #ChooseFrance,” tweeted Alexandre Ziegler, France’s Ambassador to India.
France forms part of the Schengen Area comprising 26 European states.
The Schengen Area is an area comprising 26 European states that have officially abolished passport and all other types of border control at their mutual borders.
