The National Investigation Agency(NIA) is conducting raids in Jammu & Kashmir and Delhi in terror funding case, reports said.
The raids are being conducted in at least eleven locations in Srinagar and five areas in Delhi including Gurugram, NIA sources informed ANI.
Last month, the NIA had conducted raids across J&K to track terror funding trail against separatists. The searches were conducted in Srinagar, Baramulla and Handwara.
The NIA had earlier questioned close aide of separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani for routing funds to separatists from their Pakistan-based handlers.
In July, seven separatist leaders - Nayeem Khan, Bitta Karate, Altaf Funtoosh and Shahid-ul-Islam- were arrested by the NIA in terror funding case. Altaf Funtoosh is the son-in-law of Hurriyat hardliner Syed Ali Shah Geelani.
Nayeem Khan was suspended by Geelani from Hurriyat after he confessed to receiving money from Pakistan-based terror groups in a sting operation, a PTI report said.
In a preliminary inquiry, the NIA had alleged that separatists received funding from Hafiz Sayeed-led Lashkar-e-Taiba to carry out terrorist attacksin Kashmir.
