The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Fridayarrested a Deputy Commissioner of Income Taxin Mumbai for allegedly taking abribe of Rs three crore.
The arrested officer has been identified as Jaipal Swamy, sources in the CBI told PTI.
Two other persons have also been arrested in the case, a spokesperson for the investigating agency said, adding thatsearches were going on.
