The list of 71 ministers in the new coalition government comprises of 30 Cabinet Ministers, 5 Ministers of State (MoS) with independent charge, and 36 Ministers of State (MoS). The portfolios haven’t been announced yet, but the formation and structure of Modi 3.0 shows a pan-India representation and also adequate focus on the alliance partners.

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and NCP Chief Ajit Pawar said, "Praful Patel has served as a cabinet minister in the central government and we did not feel right in taking Minister of State with independent charge. So we told them (BJP) that we are ready to wait for a few days, but we want a cabinet ministry. We are going to attend the swearing-in ceremony today..."

He further said, "We have one Lok Sabha and one Rajya Sabha MP today, but in the next 2-3 months we will have a total of 3 members in the Rajya Sabha and our number of MPs in Parliament will be 4. So we said we should be given one (cabinet ministry) seat."

One of them said, "Transgender persons are also getting many rights now under Modi ji's rule. Modi ji supported the rights of transgenders."

The Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Sudip Bandyopadhyay said that it will not attend Narendra Modi's swearing-in ceremony, said the party's leader in the Lok Sabha.

"BJP leader Prahlad Joshi had called and invited us to attend the swearing-in ceremony, but our party has decided not to participate," Bandyopadhyay said.

When asked about the formation of the Union Cabinet, Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM), an ally of the NDA, said it was hopeful that it would get the chance to serve people.

"As of now, we don't have any information. We are hopeful that we will get the chance to serve people. We would like to thank the people of Gaya who voted for us and NDA allies for taking our party to this level that we can represent in Parliament," HAM leader Santosh Manjhi told the news agency PTI.

Two MPs of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP)- Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu and Dr Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani- will be sworn in as ministers in the Narendra Modi cabinet later on Sunday.

Kinjarapu, 36, the son of former Union minister Yerran Naidu, will be come the youngest-ever cabinet minister.
