Terrorist's father dies on hearing his son is trapped in Shopian encounter

Zeenat Naikoo who joined terrorist ranks two months back got trapped in an encounter at government forces at Kundalan Shopian, hearing the news about his son, his father Mohammad Ishaq Naikoo suffered a heart stroke and died.

Two more soldiers got injured during the ongoing gunfight at Kashmir's Shopian district.

Army, CRPF and joint forces started a cordon and a search operation at Kumdalan village after hearing a specific information about the presence of some terrorist, and that's when the gunfire started.

Terrorist's father was shifted to District hospital where he was declared bought dead due to cardiac arrest by doctors.

The firing has stopped and two militants have got killed said the police. But it is difficult to provide identities unless the bodies are recovered.
