A day after Mehbooba Mufti's comment claiming that the Centre was trying to break her party, BJP National General Secretary Ram Madhav has said that her accusations were based on  "lies".
He said that instead of resolving the internal conflicts, the party was threatening in the name of terrorism.
Madhav said, "What Mehbooba ji said yesterday is unfortunate and based on lies. No one in Delhi is trying to break their party. Instead of solving their internal conflicts they are blaming Delhi and threatening in name of terrorism. As far as BJP is concerned,we are not trying to break any party".
He further added that the Centre had the power to neutralise all the terrorists.
"As far as the threat over 'Salahuddin' is concerned, the Central government and security forces have the power to neutralise all the terrorists who are in the valley and those might turn to terrorism due to Mehbooba ji", he added.
Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Mehbooba Mufti, had warned the Centre that any attempt to break the PDP will have a “very dangerous” outcome.
Responding to Shashi Tharoor over his "Hindu Pakistan" comments, he said "Tharoor ji neither understands Pak nor Hindus properly. Therefore he's talking about 'Hindu Pakistan'.
He also said that, "Modi government will be there for next 5 years too, India will stay India and a proud developed nation".
