Maruti Suzuki recalls over 21,000 units of new Dzire
The recall affect close to 21,500 Dzires manufactured between February 23 to July 10 this year
India's pocket-friendly car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki has issued a recall of the Dzire 2017 compact sedan over a rear wheel hub.
The recall affects over 21,494 units of the sold car which were manufactured between February 23 to July 10 this year.
The car major is undertaking a service campaign wherein the cars with the mentioned faulty part will be fixed without any cost to the customer.
"Starting October 3, 2017, owners of the vehicles included in this service campaign will be contacted by dealers for inspection and replacement of the faulty part," said the notice on Maruti Suzuki.
The owners can also check if their cars are affected or not by entering the car's Vehicle Identification Number on the website.
In October, the all-new version of Dzire crossed one lakh unit sales milestone in just five-and-a-half months of its launch.
Launched in May this year, the all-new Dzire is based on the new-gen Swift hatchback with new exterior and interior design.
