Man devastated after waterlogging damages three of his cars, including Rs 5 million Audi

Gujarat is witnessing fierce rains, and considerable loss of property has been reported from different parts of the state. A man from Vadodara is shattered after three of his cars, including an Audi, were damaged due to waterlogging caused by the rain.
The man posted pictures of his three cars on Reddit, showing them stuck in the water. The post talks about a Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, a Ford EcoSport, and an Audi A6. The Audi costs over Rs 50 lakh ($59,618), and the man says all three cars were damaged due to intense downpours.
The man is understandably devastated and captioned the post, "There's nothing left to live for anymore...All the 3 cars mentioned in my flair are now gone." The photos show the car almost completely drowned in water.
He further talked about the conditions in his area amid the extreme weather. He said that there was up to eight feet of water outside his house and movement wasn't possible. So nobody could come to tow the vehicles.
"This is like the 3rd time I'm facing this. Twice in my previous society (with completely different cars) and the first time in 4 years at this new place. Theres 7-8 ft water outside no one can come in till the water goes down," (sic) he added.
Water, water everywhere
He added that the water also entered his house and had "seeped 7 inches by far now".
"The whole area or the whole city has been affected."
Following his post, people shared their own experiences of losing their cars to rain damage. "I wish we could hold municipal corporations accountable for waterlogging of this magnitude. It's done in the UK. This is the only we can make sure we get the service we deserve," one user wrote.
Another recounted a scary incident he faced in 2018 where he almost drowned inside his car. "I was stuck in a flood with my car running and the water reached almost my windows when it stopped. And I couldn't do anything. Thankfully people saw me and pushed my car out of the water," the person said.
The car only started working two months later, he said, but took a lot of work and money.
