Maharashtra: Truck-car collision leaves 11 dead in Yavatmal

At least 11 people were killed and another injured when a jeep collided with a speeding truck at Kosdani Ghat on Yawatmal-Nanded road in Maharashtra in the wee hours on Friday.
The jeep, en route to Huzur Saheb Gurudwara at Nanded from Punjab, collided with the speeding truck, resulting in on the spot death of 11 people and injuries to another, police said.
The bodies were sent to Arni hospital for post-mortem. The rescue operation was underway, police added.
