With the last phase of Lok Sabha pollsdone and dusted on June 1, various exit polls started to roll out their results. Analysts are scrutinising the data to predict the outcomes and the fate of the political parties in India.

Even as final election results will be out on June 4, the exit polls show how certain states are emerging as battlegrounds where the BJP might encounter formidable challenges.

The anticipated trends revealed by exit polls show in which states BJP is not doing well.

Here's the list

1. Tamil Nadu

According to the Axis My India exit poll, the BJP is poised to secure a modest 1-3 seats in Tamil Nadu, a state boasting 39 Lok Sabha seats. This comes even as there is a notable increase in the BJP-led NDA's vote share to 22 per cent, an impressive 12 per cent surge from the previous elections.

According to Today's Chanakya exit polls, the DMK is projected to dominate the Tamil Nadu elections with an estimated 29 seats, within a margin of error of ±5 seats. The BJP is expected to win around 10 seats, with a margin of ±4 seats. The AIADMK is projected to secure approximately 0 seats, with a margin of ±2 seats. No seats are anticipated for other parties or independent candidates.

2. Kerala

The India Today-Axis My India exit poll suggests a potential 2-3 seats for the NDA. The ruling LDF is projected to lag behind with about 0-1 seats in the southern state. Such outcomes mark a major stride for the BJP in a traditionally challenging terrain.

According to Today's Chanakya exit polls, the UDF is projected to secure a significant majority in Kerala with around 15 seats, within a margin of error of ±3 seats. The LDF is expected to win about 1 seat, with a margin of ±1 seat. The BJP is projected to gain approximately 4 seats, with a margin of ±3 seats. No seats for other candidates.

3. Punjab

According to Today's Chanakya exit polls, the result in Punjab is also highly competitive. BJP and Congress both projected to secure approximately 4 seats each, within a margin of error of ±3 seats. The AAP is expected to win around 2 seats, with a margin of ±2 seats. Other parties or independent candidates are predicted to capture about 3 seats, with a margin of ±1 seat.

India's Goa state is projected to witness a closely contested race. According to the India Today-Axis My India Exit Poll, NDA and the INDIA bloc is expected to each win one seat. The BJP, with a 52 per cent vote share, is likely to emerge victorious in the North Goa Lok Sabha seat. Meanwhile, Congress, holding a 43 per cent vote share in the state, is expected to maintain its dominance in the South Goa seat. India Today-Axis My India exit poll is based on 5.8 lakh interviews conducted across all 543 parliamentary constituencies.

Meanwhile, a close contest is anticipated between the BJP and the INDIA bloc in Jammu and Kashmir plus Ladakh.

According to the India TV CNX Exit Poll, of the 6 seats available, the BJP is projected to secure 2-3 seats, the JKNC is expected to win 3 seats, and Congress is likely to obtain just 1 seat.

As per Times Now ETG Survey Exit Poll Predictions, Jammu and Kashmir, which has a total of 5 Lok Sabha seats, BJP is likely to get 2 seats, Congress may get 2-3 seats, JKPDP 0-1 and zero for others.
