
The Election Commission of India announcedthat the voter turnout was approximately 60.48 percent in 49 constituencies across six states and two Union Territories during phase 5 of the Lok Sabha Election 2024.
This turnout was a slight downtick from the 2019 elections which saw 61.82 percent voter turnout as recorded in these constituencies.

As of 11:30 pm, the approximate voter turnout by state was as follows - West Bengal had the highest turnout at 76.05 percent, Ladakh 69.62 percent, Odisha 69.34 percent, Jharkhand 63.07 percent, Uttar Pradesh 57.79 percent, Bihar recorded 54.85 percent, and Maharashtra 54.33 percent.
The fifth phase of the Lok Sabha electionshad the fewest seats.A total of49 seats (General-39; ST-03; SC-07) voted on the fate of 695 candidates.
Up to5:00 PM, 57.52pcof voters cast ballots in the fifth phase of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. West Bengal had the highest polling percentage (73%), while Bombay came in last with 49.04%. The breakdown is as follows:
