Kerala Lok Sabha Election Result 2024:The Congress party has captured 14 out of the total 20 seats in the south Indian state of Kerala, with winners including K Sudhakaran, Shafi Parambil, Rahul Gandhi, MK Raghavan, VK Sreekandan, Benny Behanan, Hibi Eden, Dean Kuriakose, KC Venugopal, Kodikunnil Suresh, Anto Antony, and Shashi Tharoor from their constituencies. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi won again from Wayanad constituency. BJP also made history by opening account in the southern state for the first time, with actor Suresh Gopi winning the Thrissurseat. CPM, the party of current Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, managed to win only one seat.
Kerala took part in the Lok Sabha Elections in the second phase of the polls on Apr 26.In 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the Congress won most seats here, while the BJP-led NDA didn't win any.
Kerala is one of the few states where the Congress remains strong.
It is one of the highest voter turnout, so resonating with the people here is significantfor both parties.
