Kashmir: Nirmala Sitharaman to meet family of slain jawan Aurangzeb

Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will be visiting Rifleman Aurangzeb's native village in Poonch to meet his family June 20. 

Army Chief General Bipin Rawat visited the family of Sepoy Aurangzeb in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch on Monday. 

Aurangzeb was abducted by terrorists from Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district while on his way back home on the occasion of Eid. His bullet-ridden body was recovered from Jammu and Kashmir's Gusoo area on June 14.

Aurangzeb was posted in Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian district and belonged to 44 Rashtriya Rifles.
