New kid on the block: Juhi Chawla's daughter Jahnavi turned heads at the recent IPL auction

Juhi Chawla's daughter, unlike other star kids, maintains a low public profile. Which is why, when Jahnavi Mehta, Juhi and Jay Mehta's, attended the IPL auctions along with her parents and bid for players for their team Kolkata Knight Riders, everybody took note.

All of 17, Jahnavi was the youngest person to be at the IPL auction table, helped KKR officials and her parents in taking quick decisions during the auction. The young teenager even left Kings XI's owner, actress Preity Zinta impressed. Preity took to Twitter to share her thoughts on the young girl and wrote, "Forget the madness of the #VivoIPLAuction- it’s awesome to meet the super smart Janvi Mehta who gave me a run for our money #smartgirlsrock(sic)."

Juhi Chawla sent Preity love and responded to her tweet with a 'Thank you'.

Jahnavi's proud father, Jay Mehta shared that it felt good to involve his daughter as she belonged to the younger generation and they were looking at building a young team for KKR for the coming three years.

The young girl was a topper in her school in Dhirubhai Ambani International School in Mumbai and is currently studying in England. Juhi, in an earlier interview, had mentioned that her daughter is not keen to act but instead wants to be a writer.

Well, going by how she impressed one and all at the recent auction, looks like the kid has a very bright future.
