J&K: Four policemen dead after terrorists attack post in Shopian

Four policemen have been killed in South Kashmir's Shopian after terrorists attacked a police post in Zainapora.

News reports said the terrorists entered the room the four policemen were in and began shooting.

Three of the policemen died on the spot. A fourth was rushed to hospital where he died from his injuries.

The policemen had been guarding a minority pocket in the area.

The slain policemen were indentified as Abdul Majid, Manzoor Ahmed, and Mohammed Amin.

The residentsof the minority pocket are all said to be safe.
