J&K: Terrorists open fire on security forces in Shopian, 1 policeman killed

Terrorists today opened fire on a patrolling party at Shopian district in J&K, reports said.

The soldiers belonged to the 44 RR regiment who were on the lookout in Ahgam village.

Reports said the terrorists fired upon Special Police Officer, Mushtaq Ahmed Sheikh, at his house in Bijbehara.

Authorities immediately made arrangements for Ahmed Sheikh's treatment, however, he died on the way to the hospital.
