J&K: IED blast in Shopian, at least 3 Army soldiers injured

At least three Indian Army personnel were injured after an improvised explosive device(IED) blast occurred in Shopian district in Jammu and Kashmir.

The blast reportedly occurred between Sugan and Chillipora area of Shopian district.

Security personnel have launched a search and cordon operation in the area.

Earlier in the month, five terrorists including Hizbul Mujahideen commander were killed after an encounter with security forces in south Kashmir's Shopian district.

Rafi Bhat, Kashmir University assistant professor-turned-terrorist was also among those killed.
