J&K: Two terrorists gunned down in Shopian encounter

Two terrorists as gunned down in Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian district on Thursday during an encounter with security forces.
The encounter broke out in the early hours of the day in Shopian's Dragad Sugan area.
Security forces launched a cordon and search operationfollowing a tip-off about the presence of militants, the news agency PTI quoteda police official as saying.
As the forces carried out searches, terrorists fired upon them, leading to the encounter, the official said.
He said the exchange of fire was going on between the two sides.

On Thursday, two terrorists were killed in Sopore district's Dangerpora area.
During the encounter, incriminating material including arms and ammunition was recovered from the site of encounter.
