J&K: 5 non-Kashmiri labourers shot dead by terrorists in Kulgam

At least five non-Kashmiri labourers were shot dead by terrorists in the Kulgam area of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, news agency ANI reported quoting police. "In Kulgam terrorists have killed five civilians. Police is on the spot. Information is preliminary in nature" Kashmir Zone Police was quoted as saying. Security forces have cordoned off thearea and massive search operation is underway with additional security forces also being called in. The loneinjured person was shifted to the district hospital in Anantnag. All the labourers were reportedly from Murshidabad, West Bengal. Troops of 18 Battalion Army and J&K Police also reached the spot, reported ANI. The dead were believedto be daily wage workers.
