J&K: 3 terrorists killed in encounter with security forces

Threeterrorists weregunned down after an encounter broke out between terrorists and security forces in northern Kashmir.

The encounter took place in Kashmir's Handwara area.

Security forces launched a cordon and search operation in the early hours in Unisoo village following specific intelligence inputs about the presence of terroristsin the area, a police official told PTI.

Reports said firing had stopped and search operation was underway.
