Days after a 21-year-old youth succumbed to his injuries in Jammu and Kashmir's Nowhatta after he was accidentally hit by a CRPF van, a video of the victim'srelativeaccusing the Hurriyathas gone viral on social media.

In the video,the man is heard saying," On one hand, (Syed Ali Shah) Geelanisaab says don’t send your children to Christian schools and on the other, he calls Shabir Shah’s daughter, who was schooled at DPS, as a role model".

Referring to the death of the boy he further said, "the poor kid didn’t even know what shahadat (martyrdom) means. His body was kept on road for your (Hurriyat) politics".

The incident had escalated tensions in the valley on June 2.

After the incident, the state police had filed an FIR against unidentified stone pelters for an attempt to murder while the other against the CRPF driver accusing him of rash driving.

Speaking on the incident Minister of Home Affairs Hansraj Ahir has said, "Hurriyat uses Pak funds to instigate youth to pelt stones. People are asking why do you ask our children to pelt stones when your own children study abroad?"

A similar remark came from the Minister of State (MoS) in the Prime Minister`s Office Jitendra Singh where he said that the real faces of the Hurriyat leaders are slowly being exposed and they will soon be boycotted by residents of the valley.
